TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES


Aims & Objections of the Women's Institute Movement:

The WI offers opportunities for all  women tp enjy friendship, to learn,to widen their horizons ans together to influence, local, national and international affairs.

Burnham on Sea Women's Institute hold regular craft sessions where members can share knowledge of skills with others. These are fun afternoons but we have tried many things including:
Card making, origami, pottery painting, string craft, knitting, crochet, flower arrangements


WILTON LODGE IS THE HOME OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY FEDERATION
Training is offered there on a regular basis
including day courses on
food hygene certificate, a variety of cookery courses,
needle craft, embroidery etc
art and other interesting subjects

They also offer training for WI officers
